Here are some main applications of mesh ad hoc network as follows.


1. Video command

The video acquisition equipment of each combat team member and UAV is connected with the wireless ad hoc network node through the Ethernet port or Wi-Fi wireless mode, and the real-time two-way interconnection is realized between the system and the audio and video dispatching platform of the command vehicle and the departure commander. Command vehicle and departure commander can use audio-visual dispatching platform or hand-held command terminal to retrieve video images returned by one or more combat members at any time for real-time command and decision-making. Each wireless ad hoc network system can achieve a transmission rate of up to 8.9 mbps and support real-time transmission of up to 8 channels of D1 images at the same time.


2. Voice communication

The VoIP communication equipment of each combat team member and the wireless ad hoc network node are connected through Ethernet port or Wi-Fi wireless mode, and the real-time two-way interconnection is realized between the system and the audio and video dispatching platform of the command vehicle and the departure commander. Command vehicle and departure commander can make single call, group call, group call and other voice calls to a single or multiple combat team members at any time through audio and video dispatching platform or hand-held command terminal, so as to realize real-time two-way voice communication between individual combat team members, departure commander and combat team members.


3. Location information sharing

After each wireless ad hoc network system is located by Beidou / GPS, its location information can be transmitted to the command and command information terminal of command vehicle or departure commander through the wireless ad hoc network system, realizing the real-time positioning of each combat team member and UAV position by the commander in or out of the vehicle. Each wireless ad hoc network node can use GPS / BeiDou for positioning, and transmit and share the location information to other wireless ad hoc network nodes through the wireless ad hoc network system. Ad hoc network system adopts NMEA0183 international standard protocol, which can be effectively compatible with various positioning equipment. The nodes of wireless ad hoc network connect with the positioning equipment through RS232 / 485 serial interface, receiving the location information from GPS / Beidou Positioning Equipment, converting it into IP data and distributing it to other nodes of wireless ad hoc network and displaying it on the control interface of wireless ad hoc network as well.
